Mark has more than 30 years’ experience in the international metals and mining industry, including technical, financial and executive roles. He spent his early career as a geologist and geological engineer, predominantly with Barrick Gold Corporation. He then spent five years at Merrill Lynch covering the metals and mining equities, where he became a ranked analyst. Following this he helped launch Hatch Corporate Finance, a corporate finance boutique. He then held executive, advisory and board roles at mining companies, before joining Baker Steel in 2017.
